Feeling a little stiff and sore this morning after my 13.1 mile jaunt round the streets of Indianapolis. This was my second time doing this specific run. It's a pretty flat course that takes one from the city center out to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indy 500. After one lap around the 2.5 mile course we headed back to the city and the finish line. Weather was OK, warm but not hot. Humidity was up.
Finished in a reasonable time, 1 hr 58min. Slower than all my previous runs but then again I was not as well trained for this as I have been in the past. All in all and enjoyable day.
Taking it easy today, although I still need to push the lawn mower round for an hour.
