Another Year Bites the Dust

Today, having turned 37, I’ve transitioned into yet another year of my life. It was mostly a normal day with my one hour commute to and from work, the usual work activities in between of course, until this evening when I returned home. Many had conspired to celebrate with me this evening and I’m glad they did.

The girls were assembled, dinner was purchased and cooked, wine was served, a cake was baked (a heavy fruit cake, yum my favorite), cards were drawn and written, presents were shared, songs were sung, candles were lit and blown out and a good time was had by all. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening!

Many thanks to you all who took initiative and pulled us all together, Denora, Samim, Lynne, Lorraine for your special contributions and all so soon after we gathered just a few days ago
