Half Marathon....

This morning I ran and completed another half marathon. Not my best or most enjoyable run but I was very glad to have participated. I finished in 1:44:34, a few minutes slower than my personal best but it was very hot this morning and, well, I had not trained like I had in other years (funny how that goes).

Congratulations to all who participated, well done everybody and many thanks to all for their well wishes. I’m shown below with Brad who travelled to Indy with me this morning. Sorry for the ugly shot of my tow, blisters are not fun but I thought it was a cool shot. The pictures of me running were taken by a work colleague and keen photographer, Brian Huckabee. Thanks Brian, you seemed to have made me look OK despite how I was feeling at that 12 mile point.
