Kids are in bed and we now have another busy weekend behind us,
and once again it was filled with fun stuff. We attended our annual
“hands-on-trucks” which this year featured a helicopter, which landed whilst we
were there.
We had Steef and Ginette over for dinner last night and today we
visited the orchard with them. There was also the usual baking, reading,
napping, with a little sibling bickering thrown in. Connor and I went on what is
starting to become our routine 7 mile bike ride.
The highlight of course was
freshly picked apples; at the orchard I had a Honeycrisp; a Gala plus a
fresh peach. Lynne made an apple crisp for dessert this evening which was scrumptious eaten
hot with melting ice-cream!
